About the Role:Grade Level (for internal use):14The Role: Global Head of Product Solutions, Non-Financial CorporatesGrade: 14 ( relevant for internal applicants only )The Location: UK/USAThe Team: This is a team that sits within S&P Global’s Sustainable1 (S1) business, an organization focused on Sustainability and Climate data, analytics and solutions. The role will interact with the S1 team, SPGI’s divisional Sustainability teams, and professionals within the sustainability space to deliver superior solutions that support clients analytical and reporting needs. We are seeking a Senior Director/VP to lead our product line for Non-Financial Corporates, execute on the roadmap, and expand our footprint globally.The Impact: You will play an integral role in the build out, launch, and ongoing success of new products into the Sustainability marketplace.What’s in it for you: You will be part of a highly visible team that has a direct impact on the execution of our product roadmap and vision.Responsibilities:
As the Product Lead for Non-Financial Corporates, you will work with stakeholders in the Product & Commercial teams to prioritize product and feature development for this customer segment.Create and own the long-term strategy for Non-Financial Corporates, drive the evolution of the segment roadmap, and communicate updates to the Leadership team.
Lead client and market interactions to uncover the sustainability data needs of Non-Financial Corporates; understand competitive landscape, market standards & methodologies; follow regulatory developments landscape and market trends; face off with stakeholders focused on regulatory/policy functions.
Collaborate with the S1 and Divisional Commercial teams on the GTM materials to facilitate the launch and GTM activities for Sustainable1’s capabilities across multiple delivery channels. This includes supporting sales training, collateral creation, promotion, marketing activities, and reporting on ACV performance.
Engage with customers and stakeholders to document user/persona workflows, uncover market needs and business problems, and collaborate with Product Management to ensure these are translated into user requirements, features and solutions.
Collaborate with the Product Management team and clients to develop world class ESG solutions comprised of data, research, analytical tools & models based on client needs.
Work across other divisions to coordinate on roadmap, GTM planning, joint marketing activities (webinars, events/ conferences, product launches); collaborate across SPGI to maximize our positioning in the market; provide world-class client service to our customers.
Support the business in meeting usage and sales growth targets by participating in deals as the Non-Financial Corporate expert, presenting roadmap material, demonstrating capabilities and feature sets, and positioning our Sustainability/ESG intellectual property.
Represent S1 at external events & activities including client webinars, industry events, meetings.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s Degree
12+ year’s of experience working with Non-Financial Corporate clients or working in the industry itself.
Understanding of ESG and the local and global sustainability trends, relevant industry groups, regulation and how it applies to Non-Financial Corporates globally.
Strong understanding of the sustainability related needs and use cases across all different departments in Non-Financial Corporates.
Deep understanding of the regulatory landscape impacting Non-Financial Corporates; experience helping them understand and translate reporting frameworks including TCFD, ISSB, EU Taxonomy, SFDR, CSRD, CSDD, and other regional/local regulations in key markets.
12+ years of product and commercial experience within the financial industry; track record of success in launching and managing data & analytics products; ability to manage the end-to-end product development life cycle.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Demonstrated record of successfully building strong relationships, understanding stakeholder needs, facilitating communication, and navigating complex organizational structures to deliver value to customers. Drive and navigate discussions to deliver successful outcomes. Ability to influence, negotiate and build trust (SPGI leadership and across S&P Divisions). Command respect with senior audiences.

A sharp intellect, commercial acumen, creative approach to problem solving in a new and innovative industry and an entrepreneurial attitude.
Presentation skills (both in spoken and written formats), e.g. strategic plan development, strong PowerPoint skills, client interaction skills, training, business / financial analysis & reporting.
Record of success in collaborating across global teams and with multiple functional roles including commercial, technology, data & content operations, client services.
Preferred Qualifications:
Product Development and/or consulting experience within the sustainability/ESG space.
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates) S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $214,300 to $270,975. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
