Accounts Payable Clerk

Description Become an imperative part of a steadily developing team at a thriving company as an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. This short-term contract / temporary to hire position is offered through Robert Half. Serving as the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. We seek out ambitious professionals who are creators, leaders, and pioneers. Based out of the New York, New York area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary to hire opening.What you get to do every day

Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

Facilitate internal and external audits as needed

Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis

Complete full-cycle A/P

Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed

Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling

Perform special projects as assigned

Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department Requirements - Strong attention to detail

Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

Marketing Advertising experience

Deep understanding of Global Media Group

Purchase Orders experience highly desired

Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

Expertise in Digital Media

AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
