William S. Leeds Architect PC is seeking a motivated and proactive Junior Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in producing high-quality drawings and presentations. Strong experience with Vectorworks, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft 365 Office Suite Programs. This role involves working primarily in the high-end residential sector.

Responsibilities

- Drafting and detailing residential projects in NYC

- Assisting with client presentations, scheduling and meetings.

- Submissions to the Condominiums/ Co-ops, Department of Buildings and Landmarks

- Participating in all phases of projects from Schematic Design to Construction Administration

- Assisting project managers with Construction Administration tasks

Requirements

- 3-6 years of professional experience (experience must be in the US, New York tri-state area preferred)

- Professional degree in Architecture

- Strong spatial design abilities

- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills

- Proficiency in construction documents and drafting

- Experience with Vectorworks is required, along with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft 365 Office Suite Programs

- Familiarity with Box Cloud base storage

- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong follow-through and self-starter

- Candidates must have the necessary eligibility to work in the US and proficient in speaking and writing the English language

Employment Details

- This is a full-time, in-office position located 2 blocks from Grand Central Station with remote Fridays

- Paid major holidays starting immediately, and paid time off after 6 months
