POSITION: Teacher and TA

ORGANIZATION: Private School

LOCATION: New Rochelle, NY

SCHEDULE: Fully On-Site – 5 Days a Week

HOURS: 8:00AM – 2:15PM

START DATE: October 27th, 2025

PAY RATE: $30–$45/hour - Temp to Perm

Overview:

We’re seeking a dedicated Teacher to join a collaborative and mission-driven charter school community. The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity, foster hands-on learning experiences, and create a classroom environment that supports all learners in achieving academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with state standards

Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

Incorporate technology and project-based learning into daily instruction

Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment

Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration to enhance student outcomes

Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development sessions

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred

New York State Teaching Certification in Science

Prior teaching experience strongly preferred

Strong classroom management and communication skills

A passion for fostering curiosity and academic growth in students

Compensation: $30–$45 per hour, based on education and experience.

This is a Temp-to-Perm opportunity, with potential for long-term placement upon successful completion of the initial assignment.
