We provide a nurturing, play-based environment for children ages 2-5, focusing on social-emotional growth, language, motor skills, and cognitive development. Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate Lead Teacher to create a supportive and engaging learning environment for preschool-aged children. You will design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans, assess children’s development, and build strong relationships with families. The ideal candidate is experienced in early childhood education, has strong classroom management skills, and is eager to contribute to our mission of providing a balanced learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver weekly, theme-based lesson plans.

Promote a classroom environment that encourages creativity, independence, and love of learning.

Support children’s social-emotional, cognitive, and motor development through hands-on activities.

Observe and document individual child progress, and communicate with families about development.

Maintain a structured and nurturing classroom environment.

Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum and school events.

Qualifications:

Required: New York State Teaching Certification in Early Childhood Education.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Experience: Proven classroom experience in early childhood education.

Strong understanding of child development and classroom management.

Excellent communication skills with children, families, and colleagues.

Interest in professional growth and leadership opportunities.

Benefits & Salary:

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 annually, based on experience.
