Part-Time Bookkeeper/Accounts Receivable Associate

merchandise to music labels, content creators, businesses and other organizations. A to Z has
offices or staff in New York, Portland (OR), Milwaukee, San Francisco and elsewhere. This
position will be based in our New York office.
We are seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper/Accounts Receivable Associate to work in our growing
Accounting Team. The role will need to work in the mornings and provide accounts receivable
support as well as accounting related duties and will report directly to the CFO. This is a great

Responsibilities:
Post customer payments, collections; revenue allocation, deferred revenue
reconciliation
Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting
and recording accounts receivables’ data
Prepare bills and invoices
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all paymentsare accountedfor
andposted.
Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues
Facilitatepayment of invoices dueby sending bill reminders and contacting clients
Generate financial reports detailing accounts receivable status
Assist the CFO with accounting matters as needed
Ad-hoc projects
Education and Experience Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Will accept experence in lieu of
degree
Three years of progressive accounting experience in a similar role.
Experience in a small to midsize company is preferred but not required
Experienced and skilled in reconciliations
QuickBooks Enterprise/Desktop proficient
