Position Overview: As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in managing the financial integrity of our global operations. You will handle various accounting responsibilities, ensure compliance with GAAP, and collaborate across departments to support financial reporting and analysis. This is an exciting opportunity for an accounting professional with a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of technology, and a passion for working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports in accordance with GAAP.
· Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
· Manage daily and monthly transaction reconciliations for multiple global entities.
· Utilize QuickBooks for daily financial management, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger activities.
· Leverage Salesforce to manage and reconcile financial data, ensuring system accuracy and completeness.
· Analyze financial data using Power BI to create dashboards, reports, and insights to support management decisions.
· Assist in preparing budget forecasts and conducting variance analysis on financial results.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper coding and classification of expenses.
· Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and reconciliations.
· Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
· Contribute to process improvements, including automation of accounting tasks and reporting functions.
Key Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a global or tech-driven environment.
· Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
· Proficient in QuickBooks for accounting and financial management.
· Experience using Salesforce for financial data tracking and reconciliation.
· Advanced proficiency in Power BI for financial reporting and analysis.
· Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with different teams.
· Experience with multi-currency transactions and global financial operations is a plus.
