HEINI, a construction studio specializing in the development, design, fabrication, and installation of experiences and temporary environments, seeks a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Financial Manager to join our team. Heini works at the intersection of architectural construction and event production to create groundbreaking experiences for our clients.
Our event-based projects with fast and critical timelines require the finance manager to manage quick turnarounds and/or prepare our virtual team to do so. The finance manager will be in charge of our cashflow weekly, payroll bi-weekly, taxes, contractor agreements, and reconciliation. They will also utilize in-house technology to track expenses and work to improve current and future systems. The finance manager is expected to participate in Finance POD meetings daily.
This is a full-time in-person position with some remote possibilities after the first month. The pay rate will be based on experience and evaluated during the interview process. Interested candidates should submit resumes and cover letters highlighting their qualifications and relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Books (QuickBooks online)
- Manage Payroll (Gusto)
- Assist with Construction Insurance
- AP
- AR
- Cash Flow
- CC reconciliation and expense tracking
- Establish a system of self reconciling for employees.
- Bank account management (chase account 9 Credit Cards, Line of Credit, Bank account, ACH payments, dual access control payments, debit lock)
- monthly Budget and Reviiew
- Invoice clients
- Reach out to clients for AR
- Reach out to vendors for AP coordination
- Provide monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Administer and monitor project budgets.
- Maintain & update controlling system for projects
- Analyze financials to identify cost-saving measures & estimate future costs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or related field required.
- Experience in a financial management position (Quickbooks)
- Experience with Google suite, Notion, and Slack.
- Experience with project controlling, and projection.
- Proven strategic planning experience at the management level
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work on multiple high-value projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English, Spanish is a bonus
