Freelance Project: Accountant Needed to Sort Conservatorship Form

Hello and HELP, accounting world!

I'm the absolutely broken-hearted son of a father who was a hero to me, and who passed away a couple weeks ago.

I'm also the frustrated legal Guardian and Conservator of my father, who is deeply grieving and so exasperated by the task at hand of "final accounting" that I need to hire a freelancer to finish it for me.

I'm a former New Yorker, and a Harvard (MA) and Columbia (EdD) trained educator and psychologist who has had some success in my field (including politics), but who is now (temporarily) in Phoenix grieving my father and handling many other issues, and just can't focus enough to finish my Conservator requirement of "final accounting".

I need an experienced and autonomous accountant is needed to assist in:

1. Making final edits/corrections on a 9/1/2021 to 8/31/2022 accounting period of an Arizona Conservator (Scott, the son of the father Denis who passed away on 11/12/23;

2. To start and finish the 9/1/2022 to 8/31/2023 forms;

3. And finally, to start and finish the 9/1/23 to 11/23/2023 forms.

A competitive hourly rate is being offered.

The project has had another freelancer associated with editing past forms, and a new freelancer is required for filing, making final corrections, and ensuring accuracy of the accounting forms.

You will ideally possess the following prerequisites:

3-5 years of experience in accounting, with fluency in associated terminology and demonstrated work experience related to this field of Conservatorship

Specific experience with Conservatorship forms is a plus

Excellent communication, email and follow-up skills, as the correction to the 9/1/2021 to 8/31/2022 accounting form is mid-December (the others can be done by the end of December).

Quick turnaround with accuracy

If you reach the point of being considered, I'll forward on the guide/explanation that the previous freelance accountant wrote up, along with her 4-5 forms, so that you can get an even deeper sense for what is needed and if you are a good fit!

I think with her guide that it will be pretty easy for you if you have some experience; I am just to much in grieving to be able to make sense of it! :-(

OF COURSE ALL WORK WILL BE DONE REMOTELY (I'm grieving in Phoenix)!
