Job Requirements and Preferences :Basic Qualifications :Minimum Degree Required :Bachelor DegreeMinimum Years of Experience :6 year(s) of progressive roles managing IT quality assurance and control within software/systems development processes.Preferred Qualifications :Preferred Fields of Study :Information Technology, Computer Systems Analysis, Management Information SystemsCertification(s) Preferred :Foundations CertificationPreferred Knowledge/Skills :Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader:Leading delivery of automated testing initiatives across multiple domains and applications;

Driving maturity of automated testing practices and capabilities;

Driving delivery of test automation projects and solutions utilizing one or more managed service providers;

Measuring test automation effectiveness and efficiency, and regularly adjusting methods and practices to achieve the highest level of continuous testing capabilities;

Understanding test automation requirements from a business perspective to be validated through testing and assessing them in the context of an Agile/Scrum delivery model;

Understanding of the SDLC activities expected to deliver custom developed and packaged applications using test automation;

Understanding test automation frameworks and how they are applied to increase speed and accuracy of testing efforts while enabling continuous deployment of IT applications;

Managing overall automation testing effort including project automation testing strategy and automation test plans;

Contributing to thought leadership on testing tools, test automation, methodology, performance testing and practices to support quality assurance in a continuous delivery model;

Using specialist knowledge of test methodologies, combined with knowledge of business applications to improve quality of delivery and business value;

Managing the quality and acceptance of vendor testing deliverables on large and complex software development, infrastructure, SaaS and/or Cloud solutions;

Designing or approving design automation test cases, execution of test plans, analyzing test case results, and also reporting of test case results to achieve quality assurance and business value objectives;

Developing and guiding the documentation of automation test plans and automation test cases so that the requirements and test cases are unambiguous, aligned, consistent and not repetitive;

Working collaboratively within a delivery team at all levels including stakeholder management, with considerate ability of taking ownership of tasks and completing them with minimal direct supervision;

Developing enhanced automation knowledge and application domain knowledge for an assigned business portfolio to aid in critically evaluating the balance of both testing needs and user requests;

Aligning with automation tool vendor(s) to integrate new automation in browser and mobile packages;

Coordinating with test framework team to integrate new tests, where applicable;

Working with test automation director and framework team on proposed design for delivery;

Partnering with domain test managers on execution frequency and how the CI/CD runs are evaluated;

Contributing to the automation framework backlog for stakeholders and prioritizing accordingly;

Communicating status on a regular cadence to stakeholders as to the progress of delivery of work;

Attending domain product roadmap meetings to represent automation;

Serving as the first point of contact for any issues and escalating accordingly;

Proposing resolution approaches for issues and working with team on refinement of approaches; and,

Delivering end user package(s) with release notes (prerequisites, conditions, etc.).
