Driver wanted for pick up and deliveries

A Wholesale Grocery Company is looking for full time driver.

Main role of the position is to make deliveries to mainly supermarkets and grocery retail stores and pick up from the vendor warehouse. Location of the deliveries will be Long Island, 5 boroughs of NY and sometimes in NJ area.

Job Responsibilities:

Making pickups and deliveries in a refrigerated box truck. A CDL license is NOT required.

Completing shipments by checking paper works such as invoices and picking lists.

Loading and unloading products

Payment collection upon deliveries

Providing quality customer service by following organization standards and policies.

Preserving safe and clean work environment by keeping truck clean inside and out.

Completing driving reports and logs by entering required information.

Use of pallet jack and lift gate.

Qualifications / Skills:

Skilled, Safe Driver

Team Player

Organized

Time management Skills

Must have experience driving a box truck.
