Compensation: From $30-$50/hr+

Employment type: full-time, 5 days, Monday-Friday 8am-6pm

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our service team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, extensive experience with automotive diagnostics, and proficiency in a variety of repair techniques. This role involves diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues, performing maintenance services, and ensuring customer satisfaction through quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

-Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics along side the owner with over 50yrs experience using schematics and automotive electrical diagnostic systems to identify issues accurately.

-Conduct repairs on power train components, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and steering systems.

-Carry out routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, and vehicle inspections on foreign & domestic vehicles

-Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for various repair tasks while adhering to safety standards.

-Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations.

Qualifications

-Proven experience as an automotive mechanic.

-Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmission repair, and engine repair.

-Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, schematics, hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.

-Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately.

-Excellent mechanical skills combined with customer service experience to ensure positive client interactions.

-Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.

-Certification from an accredited automotive program or equivalent experience is preferred.

-Tool box with tools. Hand tools, power tools, etc.
