Carpenter laborer

New building company is looking for 2 carpenter-laborers to assist in all phases of residential and commercial building and renovation. This includes:

-Demolition

-Framing

-Deck framing and finishing

-General clean up and job-sit organization of materials, tools and supplies

-Window and door installation

-Wood siding and waterproofing

-Exterior Trim applications

-Interior Trim applications

-Misc interior punch list items including professional door and cabinet hardware install, cabinet adjustments, basic appliance installation, bathroom hardware installation

-Basic plumbing and electric is helpful but not necessary

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualities:

This position is a mix between rough and finish carpentry. All work must be professional and clean. We operate at a high standard and every task must be completed with this mind-set.

Work locations:

-90% of work is on the North and South forks

-10% of work is located in Western Suffolk

You must possess your own transportation

Hours:

M-F 7:30-4:00

Sat 7:30-3:00

-Depending on scheduling and deadlines, additional hours may be needed and expected.

Pay:

-We are looking for a lead and experienced helper

Lead: $27-31.25/hr

Helper: $20-25.00/hr

-You can be paid as a w-2 or 10-99. No insurance is needed.

You must possess your own working set of hand tools.
