We are a 22 year old painting company, working on Long Island and New York City looking for someone who would like to learn.

The ideal candidate works well with people and is handy and has a can do attitude.

Scope of Responsibility:

You will start by learning site protection and surface preparation. You will load and drive the van to job starts and cleanouts as necessary

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will learn to perform all painting functions, such as painting windows, doors, fascia, shutters, and cabinets without supervision. These must be completed in a competent, timely manner with the highest degree of craftsmanship and in accordance with established PNP Craftsmen Standards and Procedures.

If directed by a Project Leader, you must be able to deal with customers' questions and concerns daily on the job-site. Report concerns and/or problems to the Project Leader immediately.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be willing to perform a drug test and allow a background examination

Must be able to write and speak English reasonably well

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States and provide appropriate documentation

Able to work on ladders - no fear of heights

Must be able to lift to 65 lbs (buckets of joint compound)

Preferred Additional Qualifications:

Prior experience in the construction industry

Understanding of painting terminology

Experience with airless Spray

Experience with spraying cabinetwork or other high end work
