We are a Steel Company looking for candidates for our Union Shop: WELDER

Full Time, Day/ Monday through Friday Plus Overtime.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

GMAW Welding, Mig and Tig Welding: Carbon Steel/Galvanized/Stainless/ Some Aluminum

Ability to understand, and fabricate from shop drawing details.

Ironworker Experience a Plus.

Cutting Torch Experience a Plus.

Also takes on duties of Shop Helper when needed.

Assists other workers by performing any combination of the following tasks:

Lifts, positions, and removes work pieces from machines to assist machine operators or fabrication personnel.

Loads, stacks, and transports tools, work in process, or drops by hand or by lift.

Cleans and scrapes metal in preparation of fabricating or shipping.

Picks up, sorts, and stacks or disposes of drop material from work areas.

Keeps general areas clean, including sweeping and sanitation duties.

Adheres to the best practices to maintain a safe worksite.

Aids and assists other team members to complete the department’s and the company’s goals.
