Commercial Insurance Customer Service & Sales Position (Commack, NY)

3rd generation, family owned and operated Brokerage is looking to add to their team!

Insurance Brokerage seeking experienced person for a WELL-versed Commercial Lines Customer Service and Sales Rep positionPersonal Lines experience too. Should have insurance carrier rating background.

Looking for outgoing and friendly customer focused individuals. The Ideal candidate will have some insurance experience however as well as their P&C License for atleast 4 years.

Day to Day Duties Include:

Intake info for new clients

Talk to clients that need assistance

Issue Certificates of Insurance and Auto ID Cards

Assist in answering the phones

Follow-up with carriers for receipt of endorsements and policies

Check endorsements and policies for accuracy and request changes

Process binders and invoices

Follow-up with insured for completed applications and other requested information

Take payments

Scan documents/mail and attach to appropriate account

Follow-up on Leads and Mailings

Assist Account Executive as needed

Must have:

NY State Brokers License.

-do not apply if you are not licensedthis is a position for experienced Sales.

Excellent people and verbal skills.

Must be able to multitask.

Friendly and professional manner.

Computer skills are a must.

Team playerour office works as a team

Compensation: full time 40k plus Depends on Experience (Bonuses, Commissions, 401K and other Benefits included)
