Responsibilities:
Supervise assigned staff members
Obtain and record initial assessments, and develops and modifies nursing plans and care priorities
Collaborates with other health professionals in the plan of care
Monitors and evaluates patient progress and conditions requiring intervention
Administers medications and treatments
Assists with diagnostics tests and procedures
Participates in resident and family education, as well as discharge planning
Investigates and reports on problem situations
Transcribes physician orders
Required Qualifications:
NYS license as a registered nurse
Graduate of accredited school of nursing
