Gourmet Mediterranean Shop looking for a full-time baker. This is not your typical baking job! We make a large variety of Mediterranean specialties including: Baklava, Borekas, Spanakopita & a variety of cookies & cakes. You do NOT need experience in Mediterranean food but must have at least 2 years working in a bakery kitchen.
2 years' experience in a professional bakery setting.
Knowledge of baking ingredients and their unique properties.
Exceptional time management skills, ensuring timely production without compromising quality.
A keen eye for detail and accuracy in recipe execution.
Basic mathematical proficiency for precise ingredient measurements.
Baking or food safety certifications highly regarded.
A strong commitment to punctuality and reliability.
Must be able to read and write English.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Able to lift 50 pounds
Schedule: Sunday 9-5, Monday 9-5, Tuesday OFF, Wednesday 9-5, Thursday 9-5, Friday 9-5, Saturday OFF
