Software Engineer

Exciting opportunities within the Aerospace and Defense industry are currently available! Actalent is looking for a full-time Sr. Software Engineer to support our client, a leading DoD organization, onsite in Syracuse, NY. Responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with a diverse and talented group of individuals, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of professional Software Engineering experience

Software development skills C+

Experience with Java/Python is desired

Experience with OOA/OOD design and implementation

Linux Development

Analytical/debug and SW/HW integration and test skills

Experience in debugging, unit testing, and integration testing

Experience with formal testing, verification, and validation

Friday’s Off (Schedule is 4, 10 hour days a week)

Part-time Remote Telework is available: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at the Lockheed Martin facility in Syracuse, NY. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
