Senior caregiver needed in Ithaca, New York!

Caregiver needed in Ithaca, New York at Old Hundred, assisted-living or family type home for seniors.

If you do not live locally, or plan to move to the surrounding area, please do not inquire or apply for this position.

Certification is not necessary; however we do provide certification classes at no cost to you!

The permanent shifts we have open at this time are:

Sunday 7a-3p

Sunday 3p-9p

Sunday 4p-9p

We also have two team members that will be going out on maternity leave! One the first week of February and the the other a few months later. Several per diem shifts to fill for the maternity leaves with the opportunity for some shifts to be permanent as they will be scaling down their hours when they return from their maternity leaves.

We will have some day shifts permanently open 7a-3P. As well as Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening shifts open from 7/8 AM to 3 PM for the second maternity leave.

Old Hundred is a privately owned, family type home for seniors with 6 Resident’s. We have a warm and inviting environment that is not institutional style. We focus on quality, individualized care. Candidate must possess high people skills, a genuine calling to care for our senior population, the ability to work with fellow team members, have transportation, able to work in a medium paced environment, a positive, can do attitude, a polished/professional disposition and a love for what they are called to do.
