Experienced Dog Groomer (Full-Time / Part-Time; 16 hours minimum per week)

Location: Washingtonville, NY

We are seeking a skilled and preferably certified dog groomer(s) to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. If you have a passion for working with dogs and possess the necessary expertise in grooming various breeds, we want to hear from you! Our top priority is the health and safety of our animals and we approach each dog gently, making sure we are always monitoring their stress levels.

Responsibilities:

Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling dogs of all sizes and breeds.

Handle dogs with care and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area and equipment.

Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a dog groomer with a strong portfolio of grooming work.

Certification from a recognized grooming program is strongly preferred but experience is best.

Knowledge of different dog breeds, coat types, and grooming techniques.

Excellent handling skills and ability to work with dogs of all temperaments.

Strong attention to detail and dedication to delivering high-quality grooming services.

Availability to work on Saturdays is a must.

Must be able to lift large breeds when necessary.

Compensation: Commission-based pay plus tips.
