We provide Snow and Ice Removal for commercial, industrial, medical and residential Properties located throughout Rockland, Westchester, Orange county NY and Bergen County NJ.

Job description - Job Title: Wheel Loader Operator for Snow Removal

Responsibilities:

Operation of Large Commercial Wheel Loaders (320 Class and larger) and other heavy equipment with Snow Pushers

Clear snow from roadways, parking lots, loading docks, driveways, etc.

Utilize equipment in a safe & productive manner

Assist snow removal team in loading and unloading materials and supplies

Fuel and perform basic maintenance to your assigned Piece of equipment during each storm.

Operators must be able to fill out client based electronic work logs and fill out required paperwork each storm accurately.

Ability to communicate effectively with management and team members. Must be able to communicate & coordinate during storms with Plow truck operators and Snow shovelers on assigned client sites to work as a team in order to perform storm cleanup in the most productive safe and proficient manner possible.

Must Be available to be on Notified Standby and be able to arrive on time, each time a snow or icing event occurs.

Qualifications:

Understand snow and ice storms and efficient & Safe snow cleanup procedures

Understand and be familiar with equipment operation (i.e. Loaders, Snow Pushers, Plow trucks, Skid steers, Salt Spreaders and Backhoes)

Extremely Flexible On Call schedule is REQUIRED

Available to work all hours of the day to complete full snow removal and cleanup, from beginning to end of storm (Willing and able to withstand 20+hrs of work at a time in inclement weather conditions)

Able to bend, crouch, and lift 50lbs when and if necessary

Able to fill out basic paperwork

Able to complete basic forms via online applications

Be able to read, write and speak English.

Must have own reliable transportation to and from the job site

Required driver/operator experience:

Snow Removal Equipment Operation: Minimum of 3 years Commercial Experience

Required language:

English / Spanish (Must understand, read, write and speak English).

Required license or certification (for drivers only):

Driver's License

Class A/B (CDL is a PLUS but not required)

Job Type: Part-time / Seasonal - Schedule: On Call
