General Property Maintenance - Handyman

General All Around Property Maintenance - Handyman for an apartment building located in Yorktown.

Full time position with benefits. Competitive Pay + Full Benefits Package.

This position is responsible for completing general apartment maintenance such as plumbing, electrical and general repairs as well as cleaning of the hallways and grounds, mowing and weed wacking of grass areas and helping the other building staff.

Responsibilities Job Requirements:

General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, & general lawn maintenance.

Ability to communicate & interact with tenants and other staff.

Must be able to work full time between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM.

Clean and professional work appearance throughout the workday.

Ability to perform tasks described below without help.

Assist building staff in a timely manner.

Cleaning of the common property, assist in the cutting and maintaining of grounds.

Keep hallways and exterior of building free of garbage.

Respond to emergency situations during, before and after work hours.

Report unsafe conditions.

Report maintenance concerns and needed repairs to building supervisor.
