Grounds and Hotel Maintenance Supervisor

Woodstock Way Hotel is looking for a full-time Hotel Maintenance/Landscaping individual to handle the day-to-day repairs and upkeep needs at our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

This position performs all necessary and preventative maintenance repairs/responsibilities as directed by the Management to maintain a safe, attractive, and efficiently operated hotel which includes plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting/plastering preventative maintenance, HVAC units, ice machines, ground maintenance This person will also ensure all projects are completed according to specifications and are completed on time, understands and practices safe all safety and lock out-tag out procedures, performs all guest room and public area preventative maintenance services as outlined for our hotel as well as perform daily maintenance checks of equipment and logs properly. This individual will need to be a team player that is willing to help out in other departments, as needed.

Job Requirements:

· A working ability with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry is needed, and formal training in at least one of these disciplines is preferred.

· Must be comfortable with hand and power tools, painting, minor plumbing, some electrical work, landscaping and ground maintenance.

· Ability to carry and move fifty (50) pounds or more throughout the property, including up and down stairways.

· Must be capable of walking, including stairs climbing, ladder climbing, kneeling, reaching, bending and lifting.

· Must be computer knowledgeable.

· Ability to stand the entire shift, long hours sometimes required.

· Must be fluent in English.

Experience/Education:

· One-year previous hotel (or like) experience preferred, but not required

· High school degree or equivalent required

· Universal Certification preferred

This is a full-time position that requires OPEN AVAILABILITY including working weekends and holidays as required.
