At Gerry’s Service we run a pretty unique type of shop. We primarily work on modern vehicles for the general public (about 85% of our business), but we are also known for our fantastic classic car repair work. You'll see a bit of everything here.

✓ GOOD PAY AND BENEFITS - We offer a generous pay plan that includes a guaranteed base plus quality and production bonuses. You’ll start out between $65,000 - $100,000 per year and when the shop does better, you do better! We offer a guaranteed hourly pay of $27-$35 based on your skills and experience, plus additional flat rate weekly bonuses based on 100% or better productivity. A productive tech can definitely make some money here. We also offer an awesome benefit package including full health insurance plans with dental, retirement plan with employer match and employee discounts plus other benefits you’ll only enjoy working at shop that cares about you.

✓ WE PAY MORE FOR TRAINED STAFF – Got an automotive education, industry training or certification? Show us what you have, we always pay more educated professionals. We also offer regular paid staff meetings with lunch provided.

✓ UP TO $4,000 SIGN-ON BONUS – Depending on your education, experience and qualifications, we’ll pay you up to $4,000 to come over to our shop.

✓ WORK-LIFE BALANCE (FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE!) – We believe that people need their time to recharge and we’re committed to you being happy inside and outside of the shop. We offer an excellent work atmosphere, paid sick time, Paid Holidays and a 5-day work week (Monday - Friday with no nights or weekends) so you can spend time doing the things you love with friends and family.

=> QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS <=

✓ MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE – In order to be a good fit for our team, you will need at least 5 years’ experience working as a mechanic in a professional auto repair business. Post high school 2-year degree in auto repair is preferred.

✓ SERIOUS ABOUT WORK AND SERIOUS ABOUT CARS – We have a great atmosphere here at the shop and we have a passion for cars, especially old cars. You should be an upbeat person who is focused on 100% productivity and looking to grow in your career.

✓ NEW YORK STATE INSPECTION LICENSE – You must have a New York State Inspection License or be willing to submit the application within 15 days of employment.

Since 1989, Gerry's Service has maintained a group of well trained, experienced and loyal automotive service professionals prepared to service and maintain our customer’s vehicles. We set high standards for ourselves, through involvement in the automotive community and continued automotive education. There is over 100 years’ experience here and we do a fair amount of electrical work, diagnostic work as well as routine maintenance to help our customers keep their vehicle safe & reliable.
