Description We are looking to add a Senior Accountant to the Buffalo Team of Full-Time Engagement Professionals. Working as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Build analysis of financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

Arrange monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

Work with internal and external auditors to coordinate quarterly reviews and testing

Constantly improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

Compose Balance Sheet account reconciliations

Manage monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are highly desired

10+ years of overall general accounting experience

Experience handling daily accounting functionality including general ledger management, journal entries, reconciliations, month end close, fixed assets, AP/AR review, and more

Proficiency in financial reporting

Efficient in ERP systems

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must

Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines

Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment

Ability to work well with functional department managers
