Best Buddy/Community Hab staff

$17/hour to start. Take a child or adult with a mild developmental disability out to fun places like to the movies, shopping, bowling, hiking, or out to lunch, etc. Get paid by the hour but also receive up to $17 in reimbursement for your own activities with receipts. Your ind. pays for him or herself. No physical work. We pay mileage. Work 1-1 with a person of your choice to achieve a few goals such as budgeting, cooking, life skills so they become more independent. You choose your person based on similarities and location. Most staff find this a fun and rewarding position that is not really a job. You can choose hours to work based on your person's schedule.
