Property Maintenance Technician – Flexible, Steady Work

We’re a locally owned property management company looking to work with skilled, dependable maintenance techs who want flexible, steady work without micromanagement.

This is a field-based role supporting residential rental properties across the Capital Region. You’ll receive work orders through our app, complete general repairs you’re comfortable with, document your work, and communicate clearly when something needs materials, follow-up, or a specialist.

You don’t need to know how to do everything. We value honest assessments, reliability, and communication more than pretending to be an expert in every trade.

What You’ll Be Doing

-General maintenance and repairs in occupied and vacant units

-Diagnosing issues and completing work within your skill set

-Using our required work-order app to receive jobs and document repairs

-Communicating professionally with tenants and management

Who This Is For

-You’re a real, hands-on maintenance professional

-You show up on time and follow through

-You’re comfortable working independently

-You’re respectful in tenant-occupied homes

-You can communicate clearly when something is outside your scope

Basic Requirements

-Prior maintenance or handyman experience

-Smartphone (app use is required)

-Reliable vehicle and basic tools

-Ability to pass a background check

(no theft, fraud, or violent offenses)

How This Works

-All new techs start with a paid trial period as a subcontractor

-The trial helps both sides confirm it’s a good fit

-After the trial, ongoing subcontractor work is available
