Full Time Ophthalmic Technician Needed

As our practice continues to grow, the office of Mabel MP Cheng MD, is actively looking for a

highly motivated full time ophthalmic technician ready to work in a fast paced medical office.

Ophthalmic Technician will be expected to take patient histories, eye measurements, perform refractions, eye evaluations, and run diagnostic tests. The Ophthalmic Technician must also be able to be an active participant within our office team.

Prerequisites: No prior experience is needed, but a background in the medical industry is

recommended. On the job training will be provided as needed.

MAs, COAs or Ophthalmic Technicians (certified or un-certified) are especially encouraged to apply. Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record use not required but is beneficial. Training on equipment and protocols will be provided as needed.

Compensation / Benefits: Salaries are negotiable and offered with comprehensive benefits. Starting salary for individuals with no training / medical experience in ophthalmology: 18.50 an hour.
