MOTORCYCLE TECHNICIAN/MECHANIC

Santa Fe Motor Sports is a factory-authorized Yamaha, Polaris, Kawasaki, and Suzuki dealership. Over the last 29 years, we have become the largest motorsports dealership in Northern New Mexico. Minimum qualifications:

· Valid driver’s license with motorcycle endorsement

· Have your own set of tools, including torque wrenches and fluke or equivalent.

· Work in a safe, clean, and organized manner following company policies

· Work in an alcohol and drug-free environment

· Able to provide written detailed response to customer’s concern

· Accurately perform diagnosis on any portion of the vehicle

· Able to work in a fast-paced environment, working on multiple units simultaneously.

· Able to provide detailed written explanation of work performed

· Able to mentor and guide lesser qualified technicians

· Attain and maintain a profitable productivity percentage

Minimum requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent

· More than four years as a dealership technician

· Friendly and positive attitude

· Basic computer skills

· The ability and experience pushing a 700-pound motorcycle and lifting 100 pounds

· Must be able to pass pre-employment testing, which may include background check, drug test, or credit report

Previous motorcycle, ATV, UTV, tech, maintenance, and mechanic experience required.

A relocation package may be available for the right candidate.
