We are looking for experienced Metal Workers / Chasers and a wax dresser/ sculptor to join our creative and friendly team.

Assembly of cast bronze components to create bronze sculptures

This is a position for an experienced person familiar with bronze alloys, who has served time working in fine art bronze foundries and will be responsible for manufacturing high quality functional interior and exterior products in metals such as bronze and stainless steel.

As an experienced bronze technician, you will be expected to chase and fabricate company products and limited edition prestigious pieces to the required company standards in specification, in full and on time.

You need to be perceptive, organized, reliable and able to problem solve complicated designs.

Required Skills, Attributes and Experience:

This senior role is highly varied in nature with daily problem solving and unique challenges that bridge the divide between various fabrication skill sets. Key is being able to liaise with artists as we approach the final stages of production and this aspect alone means the role should be frequently rewarding and highly dynamic to the right applicant. Ultimately the quality of your finishing, and your efficiency in achieving it, needs to be benchmark within the industry. Typically, we work with bronze but also with stainless, mild steel, and aluminum.

Ideally you would have a minimum 5 years' experience in a busy workshop or foundry environment and be highly competent across several areas including:

Hand and power tool chasing/dressing/fabrication/polishing

TIG/MIG Welding, mainly silicon bronze but also aluminum and steel.

Brazing/ silver soldering

Sandblasting

General metals fabrication very useful

Fitting and turning experience useful

Clean-up of workshop and ensure tidy work environment

Ensure safety standards are adhered to and equipment is maintained

The ideal candidate will also have the following abilities:

Sharp eye for detail

Ability to work proactively in a small team
