Ranch/farm caretaker

The full-time position is available for a mature, responsible couple or individual needed to maintain and care for a small farm/ranch near Stanley/ Madrid, NM. Benefits include 2 bedroom apartment (utilities included) Salary depends on qualifications and experience. The ranch caretaker will be responsible for caring for a small number of livestock, including horses, donkeys, sheep, hogs, chickens, dogs, and cats, located near the caretaker's residence and guest housing. You'll need prior experience with hauling animals and monthly unloading of hay and 50 lb bagged grain. Minor handyman maintenance of equipment and tractor along with the houses and living areas will also be needed. Landscape experience is a plus. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required. The couple or individual will work collaboratively with the owner. References required. Basic English language skills necessary.
