NPosition Type ManagementPOSITION SUMMARYAs an integral member of the US & Canada Finance MSB MxM team, the Sr. Manager, BI Reporting and Analysis – MSB MxM will serve as a key player in the reporting and analysis related to the capital budgeting, forecasting, and operating budgeting processes for the Marriott Select Brands Managed portfolio, as well as sharing key data and insights with Management and Franchise teams. The Sr. Manager, BI Reporting and Analysis provides portfolio, brand, market-based analysis for key stakeholders.This position’s primary focus is to lead the evolving infrastructure of systemwide reporting and analysis tools for, the above property finance and operations team, and the hotel leadership teams to leverage across the MSB MxM and Franchise portfolios. This resource will oversee the reporting and data analysis for stakeholder and portfolio insights, including in areas of actual/forecast results, budgets, and capital expenditures. This role will be a key player in a team that develops and implements reporting and analysis insights that will support MSB MxM hotel teams in managing the business and driving optimal financial performance. The Senior Manager will serve as a support contact for internal and external stakeholders, to include Owners, Owner Services Representatives, Discipline, Brand and Regional leaders.EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONReporting and Analysis
Create market-based reporting and operations analysis and provide recommendations on findings, to include owner specific Ad hoc requests
Develop, create, and maintain brand and Owner portfolio analysis. Analyze performance with actionable information for monthly distribution to Americas Regional leaders and Owner Account reps.
Support development of analytical reporting and tracking tools for key operational and brand initiatives.
Lead the development, continuous improvement, and testing of property-based reporting platforms and automation systems (i.e., Rosie[Property support chat bot], cloud based flows, and reporting distribution processes)
Identify business challenges and opportunities by providing reports and other modeling aimed at driving performance or supporting the needs of the business as it evolves
Monitor the implementation/performance results of various brand standards (i.e., labor standards, etc.) to drive accountability and optimize results
Establish and manage execution of monthly financial reporting and analysis for multiple standard reporting packages
Develop presentations for Senior MSB leadership team for both internal and external stakeholders
Use financial data, data trends, and market information to accurately assess performance, identify risks and deliver quality solutions to critical business issues.
Serve as a resource to the Regional Team, Business Support/Contract Compliance Team, and other key discipline stakeholders for ad hoc reporting and analysis needs.
Partners with other FBP MSB team members on major department deliverables and special projects to ensure overall success of the team
Collaborate with Accenture’s Capital Accounting and Administration team to create reporting solutions
Ensure accurate reporting of MSB financial results including accurate of hotel attributes used in reporting
Support other team members as a technical and knowledge resource in reporting and analysis related questions.
System Maintenance and Oversight
Establish and support routine system maintenance standards to ensure business continuity in reporting and analytics for the MSB MxM hotels. This can include but is not limited to:
Regular updates in PeopleSoft, Nvision and EPM (i.e. Tree Maintenance, Nvision report updates and combo edits)
Ownership of Sharepoint sites and related upkeep
Monitoring of owner source to ensure accurate and complete report loading and availability
Support various America’s system updates and maintenance enhancements by serving as a point of contact and key stakeholder in system decisions that will impact the MSB MxM hotels
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to communicate downstream impacts of related maintenance changes
Partner with Information Resources, external consultants, customers and other Americas Finance team members to develop and continuously improve budgeting tools and systems
Support other system updates or maintenance as required by business
CANDIDATE PROFILE
BS/BA in accounting, finance or related field.
6+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience or related field.
Marriott experience in hotel accounting/finance a plus.
Strong technical experience with forecasting, accounting, revenue management strategies, and project management skills.
Developer experience of Microsoft Office 365 applications including Power BI and Excel required.
Strong communications (verbal and written), organization and presentation skills.
Knowledge of operating procedures, controls, and governances.
Ability to leverage resources in the accomplishment of objectives.
Exceptional organizational skills. Effective in prioritizing work and following through on commitments. Project management skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work with and communicate effectively with all levels of management.

The salary range for this position is $96,038 to $179,270 annually.
