Lab Assistant Paid Training

Actalent is hiring laboratory assistants to work as accessioners processing healthcare specimens in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This position offers paid training.Job Description:The accessioners will be responsible for a variety of duties including: incoming receiving of sealed specimens into the laboratory, data entry, sorting specimens, delivering specimens to different areas of the lab and preparing specimens for testing by clinical laboratory scientists.Skills & Qualifications:The most qualified candidate will have previous experience or training as an accessioner, specimen processor, specimen sorter, phlebotomist, phlebotomy technician or experience in a fast paced setting such retail, food service or warehouse environments. A verifiable HS diploma or GED and comfort with data entry is required for consideration.Working Hours / Shift:Positions are available Monday through Friday on the day shift.About Actalent: Actalent connects passion with purpose.
