Date Posted:2020-08-20-07:00Country:United States of AmericaLocation:UT2: 9 Farm Springs 9 Farm Springs, Farmington, CT, 06034 USAPOSITION SUMMARY STATEMENTThe UTG Finance Analyst position will report to the Controller, UTG Finance and will have responsibilities including: (i) Participate in financial accounting and reporting activities, (ii) Support accounting for International Assignee payroll and payroll related charges and automation tools and processes (iii) Liaison to RTX Corporate for cross divisional charges, (iv) Support UTG project deliverables for future populations and SAP enhancements.The candidate for this position will work to support the financial activities of the UTG legal entity for RTX global employment assignments.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage activities required for accurate capture and posting of all payroll and payroll related International Assignee charges to UTGSupport the UTG billing and accounting close process and all reporting requirements within the required schedulePreparation and posting of monthly journal entries related to UTG Operations and International Assignee costsManage the monthly Intercompany balancing process to RTX CorpParticipate in monthly account reconciliations utilizing BlacklineSupport the eSOX process and ACA reviews where applicableAssist in supporting annual audit requirements.Participate in projects to support new UTG populations and SAP enhancementsJOB SPECIFICATIONS – REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCEMinimum 4 years of related accounting/finance experienceTechnical knowledge of accounting processesExcellent communication (written and oral) and analytical skillsStrong process documentation skillsAbility to work well under pressure in a multitasking environmentWorking knowledge SAP ERP system application desirableUnderstanding of SAP modules SD, PS and FICO desirableTechnical knowledge of payroll accounting for International Assignees desirableFirm grasp of RTX accounting systems and controls desirableEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree required, B.S. in Accounting preferred, Master’s degree and/or CPA is a plus, but not required.Raytheon Technologies is An EqualOpportunity/AffirmativeAction Employer.
