Full time line cook

The Shop is looking to hire a full time line/ prep cook.

We are looking for an experienced cook to work on the line and prep. We are a made from scratch kitchen in a fast paced and busy restaurant. We need a hardworking and disciplined person who wants to join our team. We treat our staff well, and make sure our employees have good work/life balance. We like to make sure our employees have at least 2 days off in a row weekly. We also offer a simple IRA plan with matching employer contributions. We usually close for breaks a couple times a year so that our staff, and us as owners, can take decent breaks throughout the year.

Line cook skills and qualifications:

ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

ability to lift 50 pounds

knowledge of safe food handling

ability to work as a part of a team and active listening skills

passionate about food service

The position is Wednesday-Sunday, 8am- 3/4pm

The position starts off at 12/hr plus tips. (tips are usually $70-$100 per shift)
