Our company is looking for an energetic and professional assistant to help with retail and sales efforts, such as helping clients shop in our showroom, follow-up calls, instructing interested clients on how to register for our online portal, responding to requests for product samples, preparing lists of potential clients and organizing databases, setting appointments, scheduling, and overall assisting the business with sales support.
The successful candidate will be excited to welcome homeowners and interior designers in our showroom, make and answer sales calls and to follow up on quote and sample requests; via phone and email. He/she will be able to write clearly and have proficient computer skills. A pleasing personality with strong communication skills is highly valued. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, self-motivated, enjoys the thrill of exceeding goals, and is able to work independently.
Job Responsibilities:
Supporting retail and sales.
Recording information into client relationship management (CRM) system.
Maintaining updated databases.
Organize products; add and adjust products on the ecommerce platform.
Opportunity to prepare email marketing.
Opportunity to create posts and videos for Instagram.
Coordinating events as necessary.
Organize and schedule sales meetings and appointments.
Remain updated on industry knowledge by attending vendor meetings and workshops, and building relationships with clients and vendors.
Work Hours & Benefits: The position is part-time to start, with hours in the afternoon, one evening/week and Saturdays. The assistant will have opportunities to learn about the interior design trade, especially carpet and rugs, and will be dealing directly with the company owners and interior design clients. Qualifications / Skills:
High school diploma; additional certification or education a plus.
Experience with client relationship management (CRM) systems.
Warm personality with strong communication skills.
Ability to stay organized and follow up on tasks.
Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Proficient in MS OfficeŁ« particularly Excel and WordŁ« and ability to easily embrace new software.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Strong organization and time management skills, and ability to prioritize.
