Sign Installer - Full Time or Part Time

Sign & Graphics manufacturing company, in Southern New Jersey, is growing and needs to expand its production and installation capacity.

Summary of Position: Great job for people with strong mechanical skills.

Responsible for installations at the client’s site.

Make sign order deliveries. Preparing substrates/media and producing graphic/signage jobs according to work order specifications within the stated timeline.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Mechanically install signs: Post & Panel real estate signs, dimensional letters, acrylics, etc.

- Install vinyl graphics including vinyl lettering, printed vinyl and vehicle graphics (We will train you.)

- Make signs: Learn to sign making equipment - roll printer, plotter, flatbed printer, laser, CNC cutter, etc.

- Good customer interaction skills

Qualifications & Skills:

Current driver’s license and clean driving record

Proficiency in using power tools (drills, saws, impact drivers, etc.)

Read a tape measure and interpret various measurements

Experience installing vinyl: cut vinyl & printed vinyl (Nice to have but not a deal breaker.)

Must be able to climb a ladder and work at various heights (up to 20ft above ground)

Professional, upbeat, positive attitude

Sharp attention to detail

Strong multi-tasking abilities

Ability to work independently

Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with diverse customer/prospect base

Previous carpentry, construction or handy-man experience is a plus

The following are desired but not mandatory:

Previous experience installing signs

Familiarity installing vinyl

Knowledge of sign / graphic industry substrates, media, and products

Wide-format printer, vinyl plotter, laminator and/or Onyx RIP operation

About the Opportunity:

Full Time: Monday - Friday

Long weekend every week End mid-day Friday
