Overnight Delivery Driver - Bakery, Steady Work

One position for an experienced overnight delivery driver with clean driving record (license will be verified).

Job Description:

Full-time overnight shift - arrive at 11pm to, typically back by 8:00am

Inspect and pack your own truck and make deliveries to loading docks at corporate buildings in NY/NJ

Reliability is a must - schedule is Sunday night thru Thursday night + 1 Friday/month

Must have working cell phone during entire shift to communicate with supervisor when necessary

This is a 1099 paid position - first month pay is $160/night with increases for efficient work

Our deliveries include high-security locations. These sites may take legal action, including potential arrest, if a driver has outstanding warrants or issues related to their license or background check. To prevent any complications, we kindly ask that you ensure your record is clear before proceeding

Requirements:

Reliability - Work schedule is Sunday night through Thursday night + 1 Friday/month

Ability to communicate to security personnel at delivery locations in English

Must have a working cell phone at all times - to communicate with supervisor when necessary

Clean/valid drivers license and neat appearance - your license will be run

Must be at least 25 years old - for Insurance purposes

Ability to drive a 16" box truck and a high top extended sprinter

Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 30 lbs. with use of hand truck/dollies

Training:

Varies from 1 to 3 nights, depending on individual experience

($120/night - training days only)
