Bouncer/Doorman Needed

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Guard to work as a Bouncer/Doorman at a Downtown Jersey City location. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and staff. You will also use your intuition and discretion to approve customer access. You must be an individual with excellent observation skills and a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor the venue and surrounding street area.

- Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies

- Enforce access control procedures

- Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors

Qualifications:

- Valid SORA Card MANDATORY

- Proven experience in conflict management and de-escalation techniques

- Familiarity with security procedures and protocols

- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

- Valid CPR certificate and first aid training is a plus but not required

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Pay rate is $22.50/HR with a graduated raise every 3 months as per performance review
