Parts and Service Coordinator (Summer work)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Parts and Service Coordinator to join our HVAC team for the summer season. This role is critical in ensuring our operations run smoothly during the peak season. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing phone communications, ordering, and delivering parts, as well as providing essential support to our service technicians and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Answering Phone Calls:

Handle incoming calls from customers, vendors, and technicians.

Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and dispatching service calls.

Parts Ordering:

Order HVAC parts and supplies from various vendors as needed.

Ensure accurate and timely procurement of parts to meet service demands.

Maintain records of all orders and inventory levels.

Parts Delivery:

Deliver parts to job sites and technicians as required.

Ensure timely and efficient delivery to avoid service delays.

Keep track of delivery schedules and maintain delivery logs.

Coordination and Support:

Work closely with the service team to understand their parts and equipment needs.

Assist in coordinating service schedules and ensuring technicians have the necessary parts for their jobs.

Support the operations manager with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with HVAC parts and equipment is a plus but not required.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for parts delivery.

Ability to lift and carry parts and equipment as needed.
