Landscaping Operations Lead Needed ASAP

Looking for a hands-on, experienced landscaper to take the lead on day-to-day operations for a new landscaping business in the central NJ area.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys lawn care and landscaping and is comfortable running jobs independently.

Responsibilities include handling equipment and making sure the jobs are completed to a high standard.

Requirements:

- Must have experience in lawn maintenance

- Be comfortable operating machinery safely and responsibly

- Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices

- Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team

- Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks

- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record

Must be able to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time:

- Standing and walking

- Maneuvering around equipment

- Bending, kneeling, squatting, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling and shoveling

- Lifting of equipment up to 50 pounds

- Pushing or pulling equipment weighing up to 75 pounds

- Carrying a 20-pound backpack blower

Flexible working hours, including occasional weekend work. Paid weekly.
