Full Time Commercial Door Shop Helper

Commercial door distributor looking for hard-working, reliable candidate to work in our shop - general duties include, but not limited to:

Aide customers with door hardware-related inquiries (via phone, in-person, or email)

Stock shelves of incoming hardware stock

Pull hardware to fulfill customer orders

Pull doors and frames from stock to stage for customer pickup

Light welding of door frames (some tack and spot welding)

Occasionally using forklift to offload deliveries or load customer pickups (forklift experience a plus; will train the right candidate)

Occasional off-site work of hanging doors/frames and/or installing hardware may come up in time (similar installation experience a plus; will train the right candidate)

Keeping shop area clean of debris

Previous locksmith experience a plus (such as rekeying; identifying/troubleshooting issues; installation of hardware).

Must be able to lift upwards of 50 lbs., or more with available help.

Some Saturday work may be necessary in order to complete/expedite jobs.
