STAFF PHARMACIST

Community pharmacy looking for a part time or full time Staff Pharmacist to join our team and help us deliver the highest quality care possible. Pharmacist who is responsible for adherence of day-to-day operations of the pharmacy and provides direction to the pharmacy staff. Completes proper filling of prescriptions, adheres to all Standard Operating Procedures, and completes all clinical and compliance related tasks effectively and accurately.

This position provides patient care, accurate dispensing of prescriptions, administration of immunizations when applicable, patient counseling, and proper record keeping and documentation. This position is also responsible for interaction with other healthcare professionals, excellent delivery and oversight of customer service.

Maintains all proper confidentiality of information, HIPAA standards.

Knowledge of Micro Merchant Systems is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD,

· Pharmacist license in NJ

· Strong customer service skills.

· Ability to adapt to changing workflow.

Responsibilities:

-Fill prescriptions

-Counsel patients on their medications and treatments.

-Gather and interpret patient medical histories.

-Dispense medications and medical supplies to patients.
