ESL Teacher for Adult ESL Students

English academy seeks experienced ESL teacher to teach adult ESL classes to students of mostly hispanic background. In our ESL classes, we implement ESL methodologies and techniques focused on the communicative approach. Although all language skills are targeted in the planning and delivery of our lessons, the main focus is placed on verbal communication with accurate sentence structure and pronunciation. Teacher talking time is kept to a minimum whereas student practice time (SPT) is emphasized. The academy provides a comfortable teaching/learning environment for both the students and the teacher. Educational technologies are available such as smart boards and integrated textbooks. The ideal teacher candidate should be able to diplay a kind, positive and passionate demeanor in the classroom where learning is fun and educational.
