job detailsjob summary:This role is responsible for managing the company's inventory and monitoring and analyzing the forecast to determine the stocking levels, quantity and mix of what inventory should be produced. They place and manage all purchase orders and enter the demand for all internally produced items. They are responsible for evaluating prospective suppliers based on their cost, product quality, and delivery times. They are also the ones who negotiate contracts specifying the payment terms, price, and delivery schedules.location: MOORESTOWN, New Jerseyjob type: Permanentsalary: $65,000 - 95,000 per yearwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Bachelorsresponsibilities:Specific areas of responsibility include:

Manage Inventory Levels

Utilize forecasting tools to predict and manage inventory levels.

Optimize the number of turns of inventory.

Monitor the actual usage and adjust delivery schedules accordingly.

Monitor and manage the shipments on the water.

Monitor vendors and internal production

Purchasing

Evaluate, monitor, and build vendor relations.

Negotiate all pricing and delivery.

Place all Purchase Orders for Inventory

Ensure that the costing in the system is up to date.

Review the vendor billing to ensure appropriate charges.

Planning

Manage the company's forecast.

Utilize MRP for internal production planning.

Place all internal demand and shop orders

Maintain appropriate service levels and ensure there are no stock outs

Experience level: Experienced

Minimum 5 years of experience

Education: Bachelors
