Part-time Receptionist - morning shift

In 1948, the sons of Joseph and Carmela Stavola founded Stavola Contracting Co., the first Stavola Company. Today, Stavola Companies remain a family-owned and operated business, consisting of four major divisions: Asphalt and Recycling Materials, Construction Materials, Contracting (heavy highway construction) and Real Estate, all located in New Jersey. What started as a company offering basement excavation and driveway paving now has 3 quarries in NJ, 2 quarries in PA, 8 asphalt plants, 3 recycling centers, and several gravel mining operations.
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
Providing exceptional customer service to our clients, vendors, and visitors by way of a pleasant and professional attitude and appearance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Greet visitors, determine the nature of their visit and alert appropriate party of visitor and direct to appropriate office, department, and/or employee.
Receive and correctly route all incoming telephone calls.
Receive and sort daily incoming mail from the post office - date stamp and apply vendor code to all A/P invoices, distribute payments to A/R, and distribute remaining mail in individual employees mail slots.
Filing
Purchase office and kitchen supplies for the Corporate Office and all work locations using several vendors to research the best products and price.
Scan billing tickets
Maintain EZ Pass account – check violations, timely phone calls, assign tags to vehicles, maintain spreadsheet.
Daily upkeep of the office kitchen.
Any other administrative duties as needed.

SHIFT
Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM. with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Must be flexible to work a full day or to switch shifts with the afternoon Receptionist on occasion.
