Greens and Grains is a fully plant based restaurant group with locations throughout NJ. We are looking for a part time Line Cook to join our Wall, NJ location. This role offers a great quality of life as we never close later than 8pm.

Line Cooks will be responsible for culinary preparation in the kitchen of a fully plant based menu including salads, wraps, sandwiches, etc. Knowledge of high volume kitchen production with the ability to work a busy line with various stations is required.

Line Cooks will be responsible for washing, cutting, and preparing produce as well cooking on the line and working all stations. Ability to read tickets, execute orders in accordance with company recipes, and understand allergens is required. This position will be a mix of opening and closing shifts. Sunday availability is a MUST.

Requirements:

-Ability to read and execute tickets in a timely fashion

-Understanding of food cost and waste

-In depth knowledge and practice of health and sanitation requirements

-Effective communication skills
