This is a full-time in person position located in Monmouth County, NJ. The Payroll specialist will be responsible for a full-cycle in-house payroll as well as various other accounting and administrative functions as needed.
Roles & Responsibilities
Process weekly payroll in-house for multiple companies
Conduct payroll functions including but not limited to processing new hires, terminations, garnishments, Quarterly/weekly taxes etc.
Coordinate with appropriate parties to enable the processing of payroll.
Assist in Administering company health plan including enrollments, terminations and COBRA notifications and renewal.
Handle all payroll related inquiries from employees and managers.
Qualifications & Experience
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Exemplary interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritizing skills.
Energetic, self-motivated, and eager to work and learn.
Some payroll processing experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
ยท Knowledge of US Federal, State and Local payroll laws and regulations helpful.
