Accounting Manager

A dynamic software company is searching for a proficient Accounting Manager who will bring a result-oriented attitude to their team. Leading daily operations, the Accounting Manager will prepare and review ledger entries and reconciliations, maintain the general ledger system, create monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, aid in regulatory reporting, and handle other related tasks. The individual in this role will ideally establish and scale the company's accounting and finance operations. This company is based in Bridgewater, New Jersey and is known for valuing their employees and rewarding their results. If you're interested, you don't want to miss out on this long-term contract / temporary employment opportunity.How you will make an impactDrive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet tight deadlinesCollaborate with FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics, including monthly flash report, key financial metrics and actual spend against budgets/outlookRegular review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accountsPrepare various technical accounting analyses, policies and proceduresAssist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation and reconciliation processes Requirements - Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

CPA or MBA preferred

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Inventory forecasting experience

Forecasting experience

Deep understanding of Prepaids

Month end closings experience desired

Accruals experience preferred

General familiarity with Microsoft Excel

Well-founded grasp of Hyperion Financial Reporting

Proven knowledge of SAP S/4HANA

Recent relevant financial experience

Customer service oriented communication skills

Proven technical skills
